Wall Period WORCESTER Blue and White Porcelain FRUIT & WREATH. For sale is a tea or coffeepot underplate or stand made by Worcester around 1770. It was decorated with a central medallion of blue printed fruit with green, gold and red additions to it, which may be a later addition. There is also a blue wreath around the center and groups of blue printed leaves and flowers around the inside. The edge has a brownish tinge to it around a repeating blue printed ginger bread house design.The dish is 3/4" tall and 6" in diameter. It is marked underneath with the early blue open crescent mark which dates this to the Dr. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the overpaint is in top notch shape.
